We get more questions each day about LLCs than about all other business types put together. Its no wonder, really, when you consider that the limited liability company is by far the most popular business structure in America. They have grown so much in popularity that they are probably 90% of our business.
If you have questions, we have added a brand new FAQ section in the LLC Education Center and it is a great place to start. Just follow this link to get answers to your questions: Questions about an LLC

I just read a spirited article from Mark Thomas about how difficult the state is making business incorporation filing in California and if you are planning to file there, you should too. Mark lived in California for quite some time and speaks about the state with an obvious love. On topics from the weather to the people, he absolutely raves to anyone who will listen. When it comes to the government, however, his tune is not so positive.
Mark’s article outlines his belief that small business start ups are important to the economic recovery in California and his thought is that California is hurting itself by not making the business incorporation process easier, rather than harder. If you want to incorporate or form a limited liability company in California, this is a good read.
